Resources to Help You Stay Together
Before you consider surrendering your pet, know this: most situations have a solution. Whether you're facing a vet bill, a housing challenge, a behavior issue, or a life transition, help is out there. We've gathered the best resources in one place.
What We Fund Directly
Joyful Pets Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. These are the programs we fund with donations. If you need help with any of these, visit our Get Help page or email hello@joyfulpets.org.
Veterinary Assistance
We cover vet bills, procedures, and medications so a treatable problem never forces a family to give up their pet.
Boarding Assistance
When a family faces hospitalization, a housing transition, or an emergency, we cover boarding fees so pets stay safe until the family is ready.
Rehoming Transport
When rehoming is the best path, we pay for safe transport to move pets from one family to the next so distance never stops a good match.
Rescue, Rehab and Rehome
When animals need more than their current situation can provide, we step in to rescue, rehabilitate, and find them a safe, loving home.
Community Resources
Beyond our direct programs, these trusted organizations can help with challenges we don't fund ourselves. Every link has been reviewed by our team.
